SUIDAKRA To Enter Studio In July
April 13, 2006German melodic black/death metallers SUIDAKRA will enter the Gernhart Records studio in Siegburg, Germany in July to begin recording their new album, "Caledonia", for an October release. Kris Verwimp will, once again, be in charge of the cover artwork, as the band are certain that he is the best person to visualise the lyrical concept of "Caledonia". The album photography will be hanlded by Axel Jusseit, who had previously worked with the group on 2003's "Signs for the Fallen".
The follow-up to last year's "Command to Charge", "Caledonia" will contain 10 songs and will be a concept album dealing with Scotland's ancient history.
In other news, SUIDAKRA have been forced to postpone their previously announced French tour until after the release of "Caledonia". A new show in Bulgaria has been confirmed: SUIDAKRA will play at the Monsters of Rock festival in early August alongside such bands as MOTÖRHEAD, KREATOR, FEAR FACTORY and OVERKILL.
